Job description Med Ninjas is seeking a Physician for long term locum coverage at an inpatient facility located in Ronceverte, WV
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from 11/02/2026 to TBD
This assignment includes inpatient, onsite hospital coverage, EKGs, TEE, nuclear stress tests, and 24-hour call.
Locum Tenens Physician - Cardiology Ronceverte, WV
Shift:24-hour call
Start Date: 11/02/2026
End Date: 6 months with option of extension
Position Details: General Cardiologist; 2-3 weeks of coverage per month; 6 months with option to extend
Patient Population: Adults 18+
Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Responsibilities: Evaluation and management of new/established patients, cardiac risk assessment, EKGs, Holter monitor placements, pacemaker checks, supervision of EKGs, treadmill stress tests, nuclear stress testing, TEEs, and cardioversions
Required Procedures: EKGs, EKG reads, TEE, nuclear stress tests
EMR System: Not specified
Support Staff: Techs, RNs
Days Per Month: 2-3 weeks per month
On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour call; minimal nighttime calls
Required Procedures and Skills EKGs, EKG reads, TEE, nuclear stress tests
Requirements 2 years of experience required
WV State License; IMLC accepted
CSR and DEA required
Clean background required
