Opportunity:
Physician - Cardiology
Job Details:
Coverage needed per month: 2-3 weeks
Schedule includes 24-hour call with clinic hours Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
When on hospital call, provider works in clinic Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with full day clinic on Tuesday and Thursday
Minimal night-time calls expected
Support staff includes Techs and RNs
Responsibilities include evaluation and management of new and established patients, cardiac risk assessment, EKGs, Holter monitor placements, pacemaker checks, supervision of EKGs, treadmill stress tests, nuclear stress testing, TEEs, and Cardioversions
Patient volume of 22-24 patients per day; 30 minutes for new patients and 15 minutes for established patients
Patient age group: 18+
Required skills include EKG reads, TEE, and nuclear stress tests
West Virginia state license required; IMLC accepted
DEA required
Minimum 2 years of experience required
6-month engagement with option to extend
