Job description
Locums General Cardiology Walla Walla, WA (WA License or IMLC) Why This Role Join a supportive cardiology team for a long-term, full-time assignment combining outpatient care, inpatient cardiology, and shared call coverage. The practice uses Epic and is supported by experienced clinical and administrative staff. Assignment Details Start date: November 30, 2026
Duration: Ongoing, long-term assignment
Full-time coverage: Four weeks per month
Schedule: Monday ÄìFriday
Eight-hour clinical days scheduled between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Weeknight and weekend beeper call
Approximately two weeks of call per month:
- One Monday ÄìSunday call week - One Monday ÄìFriday call week20-minute call response time
Approximately 15 patients per shift
Outpatient and inpatient settings
Epic EMR
No required admissions
No APP supervision or teaching responsibilities
Temporary privileges may be available
Clinical Requirements Outpatient cardiology
Inpatient cardiology, including ICU care
Noninvasive cardiology
Echocardiography
Transesophageal echocardiography
Nuclear cardiology
Phone consultations and call-back coverage
Preferred Skills Diagnostic cardiac catheterization
PA catheter and IABP placement
Interventional cardiology procedures
Electrophysiology procedures
Pacemaker and ICD placement
Requirements Board-certified in Cardiology
Active Washington medical license or IMLC eligibility
Active DEA
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Current CV required with submission
Clean professional history preferred
Ability to provide full-time, ongoing coverage
