This well-established medical center is part of a respected regional healthcare network serving the greater southeastern Washington community. The facility operates a 12-bed department and holds a Level 3 trauma designation, providing a broad range of inpatient, outpatient, and critical care services with strong physician support.
Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Cardiology
Job Details:
Long-term, full-time locum tenens assignment with a November start date
Outpatient clinic coverage Monday through Friday with weeknight and 24-hour weekend beeper call
Monthly call schedule includes approximately 2 weeks on call per month (1 week Monday-Sunday and 1 week Monday-Friday)
8-hour clinic days within operational hours of 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Minimum of 4 weeks of coverage required per month
Up to 15 patient encounters per shift
Provide both outpatient and inpatient cardiology services, including ICU coverage
Non-invasive cardiology required, including echocardiography, TEE, and nuclear cardiology (Cardiolyte, thallium, etc.)
Active Washington State license or IMLC required
Board certification required (BC only)
Active DEA required
ACLS certification required
Clean file required
Estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days
Long-term housing pre-approval required; regional lodging budget is $3,000 per month
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
