Cardiology Job Details Specialty: Cardiology Location: Walla Walla, Washington Opportunity Type: Ongoing locum tenens physician coverage Start Date: November 30, 2026 Schedule: Monday through Friday outpatient cardiology clinic coverage with weeknight beeper call and 24-hour weekend beeper call Shift: 8-hour clinical days within a 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. coverage window Call Coverage: Approximately two weeks per month, including one Monday-through-Sunday week and one Monday-through-Friday week Patient Volume: Approximately 15 patient encounters per shift Weekly Estimated Pay: $7,080-$7,590 Community: Enjoy Walla Walla's historic charm, inviting downtown, acclaimed wineries, rolling countryside, and relaxed Pacific Northwest lifestyle. Cardiology Physician Job Requirements At least 1 year of cardiology experience; fellowship training in cardiology required Board certification in cardiology required Active Washington physician license or IMLC eligibility Current DEA registration Current ACLS certification Demonstrated experience in outpatient and inpatient cardiology, ICU care, non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology Invasive cardiology experience, including diagnostic catheterization, is preferred but not required Interventional cardiology and electrophysiology experience are welcomed Ability to provide high-quality cardiac care across clinic, inpatient, ICU, and call settings Locum Tenens Cardiology Responsibilities Evaluate and manage patients in an outpatient cardiology clinic Provide inpatient cardiology consultations and clinical support in the ICU Perform and interpret appropriate non-invasive cardiac evaluations, including echocardiography, TEE, and nuclear cardiology studies Respond to weeknight and weekend call through beeper coverage Assess acute and chronic cardiac conditions and develop evidence-based treatment plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care Document patient encounters, findings, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations accurately Support continuity of care through timely communication with patients, families, and referring providers Apply now to join this ongoing locum tenens cardiology opportunity in Walla Walla, Washington.
