Job description
UCLA Health’s Department of Surgery is recruiting a procurement specialist for thoracic organs. You will procure hearts, lungs, and heart-lung blocks from deceased donors and support the logistics of organ offers. A strong background in harvest, transplantation, and myocardial protection is expected.
Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in cardiac surgery and strong teamwork skills; role may involve research procurement. This is a limited appointment, with potential conversion to career.
