About the Clinician's Workday The cardiothoracic surgeon will provide on-call coverage for emergent cardiac and thoracic surgical cases across inpatient, operating room, and emergency room settings on a weekend basis. The clinician will also round on floor patients throughout each assigned coverage period. Call coverage is structured as solo call while on assignment, with a physician associate available to take first call at night. APP support is in place for vein harvesting in the OR and for floor coverage throughout each designated period.
