About the Facility This trauma facility maintains established clinical infrastructure and protocols to support locum tenens cardiothoracic surgery coverage across operating room settings. The facility is currently experiencing a vacancy and requires coverage until a permanent clinician is hired, with on-site resources in place to facilitate continuity of cardiothoracic surgical services. APP support is available to assist with clinical operations throughout each assigned coverage period.

About the Clinician's Workday The cardiothoracic surgeon will provide 24-hour call coverage within an operating room setting on an on-site basis, with an anticipated inpatient census of 2-6 patients per day. Call is a required component of this assignment, and the clinician must maintain availability to respond to cardiothoracic surgical cases throughout each designated coverage period. APP support is available on-site to assist with clinical operations during each assigned period. Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery is required for consideration.
