About the Clinician's Workday
Clinicians will provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with one weeknight call shift per week from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM serving as 2nd Call/Backup.
The role is primarily CT surgery with some vascular cases; rounding responsibilities are limited.
Clinicians will make hospital rounds, see consults, and support an OR schedule with 2-4 surgeries per physician each day of the week. All clinical documentation must be maintained through the EPIC EMR system.
Additional Job Details
Case Load/PPD: 2-4 surgeries per day. Support Staff: 3 Physician Associates (first assist in surgery, take call); 3 APRNs (office, Monday - Thursday). Patient Population: All Ages. Location Type: On-Site. Prescriptive Authority Required: Yes. Government: No.
