Job description
Position: Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician
Role & Responsibilities
Provide specialized surgical care in a hospital setting, including operating room procedures, intensive care unit management, and patient rounding in emergency and inpatient settings.
Participate in on-call rotations, including nights and weekends, ensuring continuous patient coverage.
Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management.
Qualifications & Skills
Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
Certifications: ACLS and BLS required.
Must hold a valid Connecticut State Medical License.
Key Duties
Perform thoracic and open-heart surgeries as needed.
Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Manage emergencies and critical cases in the ICU and operating room.
Additional Requirements: 30-day credentialing process, flexible on-call schedule, and practice in a hospital environment.
