Position Detail
Frye Regional Medical Center, 53 m from Charlotte NC, is seeking a BE/BC Cardiovascular Surgeon to join a hospital-employed practice with two existing CV Surgeons.
The Frye Heart Center is an integrated Cardiology service line that consists of Interventional, Structural Heart, EP and Cardiologists
Experience preferred but not required
Call is 1:3
Full scope of adult cardiothoracic and cardiovascular procedures
Preferred Fellowship in transcatheter valve and complex aortic surgery
Duke Heart Network affiliate; the first in western North Carolina. Backed by the resources of the Duke Heart Center, FRMC has access to the most current Duke training and staff education, evidence-based guidelines and practices when it comes to heart and heart-related issues
Position is available to both Cardiothoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons, in the essence of true program growth

Multi‑arterial grafting
Arrhythmia surgery
Endovascular surgery

Valvular repair / replacement
General Thoracic Procedures
Advanced diagnostics and treatment of benign lung conditions and lung cancer Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS)
Lobectomy
Mediastinoscopy
Navigational bronchoscopy
Wedge resections
Management of pericardial fluid collections
Management of pneumothorax and pleural fluid collections
Minimally invasive video assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS)
