Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCardiovascular Surgeon Opportunity in Sacramento
Our organization is actively seeking a skilled cardiovascular surgeon to join our esteemed team in Sacramento, California. This location serves as one of the three primary cardiac surgery centers of excellence in Northern California. We are looking for a dedicated, ambitious, and collaborative individual. While a background of 2-3+ years is highly desirable, we welcome all qualified applicants. Candidates must be ABTS Board Certified or Board Eligible.
Position Details
Type: Full-Time
Experience: 3 to 7 years in Cardiovascular Surgery preferred
Reason for Opening: A senior surgeon is set to retire in 2026
Specialization: Candidates should ideally have expertise in minimally invasive surgery (MIS), aortic surgery, and heart failure surgery. Note that we are not seeking surgeons who require or are interested in LVAD procedures.
New Graduates: Surgeons completing their training in 2025/2026 are encouraged to apply.
Current Team: Our surgical staff consists of 4 cardiovascular surgeons.
