GPM Automation Operator IIHiring Manager: Deon TippitWork Location: USA Wooster Campus - GPMShift: Shift 3 Wooster 11:45 pm- 6:45 am Sun-ThursRole Type: 100% Onsite, Must be able to lift 50 lbsRole ObjectiveThis position operates fully automatic assembly cells by ensuring machine hoppers are full with molded and purchased components. Responsible for quality testing of product being produced on shift. Troubleshoots and makes minor adjustments to equipment. Monitors and inspects quality of materials produced. Packs items for shipping and distribution.Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesMajor Tasks: PrimaryQuality testing of product being producedThis position operates fully automatic assembly cells by ensuring machine hoppers are full with molded and purchased components.Responsible for quality testing of product being produced on shift.Troubleshoots and makes minor adjustments to equipment.Monitors and inspects quality of materials produced.Packs items for shipping and distribution.GeneralBasic troubleshooting of machine faults to maximize productivityComplies with safety procedures and supports safe working environmentUnderstands the function of each molded component and finished assemblyVisually inspects components for defects and contaminationWorking Relationships (other roles and departments)QualityMaterial HandlersAutomation TechniciansLeadershipEducation and ExperienceHigh School Graduate or Equivalent (GED) requiredExperience in manufacturing environment preferredRole TypeDirect Manufacturing/Distribution - 100% On-SiteTravel RequirementsTravel between campus locations in Northeast Ohio as neededFLSA StatusNon-ExemptCompensation & BenefitsThe starting pay rate for this role is 22.19 per hour.
