It’s helping someone feel safe, comfortable, independent, and cared for.Your day may include:Sharing conversation and companionship with clientsHelping with meals and light daily routinesAssisting with walking, dressing, and personal careParticipating in hobbies and activities clients enjoyProviding encouragement, patience, and kindnessKeeping families and the care team updated on client wellbeingSome days you’ll help someone physically. Other days, emotionally.
