Many of our caregivers grow into Senior Caregiver roles, and from there into Client Care, Scheduling, or Sales positions within the company.What You'll DoAs a Comfort Keepers caregiver, you'll provide compassionate, one-on-one care that helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Depending on your client's needs, your day may include:Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional supportAssisting with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and transfersPreparing meals and helping with light housekeepingProviding medication remindersHelping with transportation to appointments and errandsSupporting clients living with dementia and other cognitive or behavioral health challengesObserving and reporting changes in a client's conditionCommunicating with our care team to ensure your client gets the support they needRequiredValid California driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to pass a background checkAuthorization to work in the United StatesHigh school diploma or equivalentPreferredPrior caregiving, CNA, or HHA experienceExperience with dementia or behavioral health careAvailability for weekend or overnight shiftsEqual Opportunity EmployerComfort Keepers is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
