Caregiver Needed | Big Lake, AlaskaPreferred Care at Home of Alaska is seeking an experienced, dependable caregiver to provide ongoing in-home care for a Veteran client with quadriplegia in Big Lake, Alaska.We are looking for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and comfortable providing hands-on care for a client with complex physical needs. Experience with quadriplegia, mobility assistance, transfers, personal care, and/or similar high-care needs is strongly preferred.Schedule:Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMFriday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMSaturday: 10:30 AM – 6:30 PMSunday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM32 hours per weekPay: $25–$27/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.We are seeking someone who is able to train with the current care team and transition into these shifts permanently. Reliability and consistency are extremely important, as this client depends on dependable coverage each week.We’re Looking For Someone Who:Has experience providing hands-on personal careIs comfortable assisting with mobility, transfers, and daily living needsHas experience with quadriplegia or similar high-care needsIs dependable and committed to maintaining a consistent scheduleIs patient, compassionate, and respectfulCan work independently while communicating well with the care teamIs looking for a long-term, permanent position with a consistent scheduleIf you are an experienced caregiver looking for a stable schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of a Veteran, we would love to hear from you!
