Village Caregiving - Charleston Caregiver PositionVillage Caregiving - Charleston is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team on a part-time, hourly basis. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential healthcare support to our clients in the Charleston and surrounding areas. This is an individual contributor role, and the ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving and a true passion for helping others.Compensation & Benefits: The compensation for this position is $13 to $14.25 per hour, paid semimonthly.ResponsibilitiesProviding personal care to clients, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing.Assisting the client with the tracking of healthcare appointments.Assisting with household tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping.Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.Communicating effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided.Adhering to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Prior experience in caregiving or healthcare.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to lift up to 50lbs and assist with mobility as needed.Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.Current CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to employment).Must pass a background check and drug screening.EEOC Statement: Village Caregiving - Charleston is an equal opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other legally protected status.
