Job description
Home Health Aide (HHA)The Home Health Aide (HHA) provides clients various personal care and homemaker/companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence.Essential Functions:Personal Care Provide assistance with: bathing, dressing, grooming, skin care, back care, shampoo, oral hygiene, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices (wheel chair), change of position, with toileting.Companion/Sitter/Household Management Provide companionship and respite services for familyStand-by assist with transfers for fall risk clientsClient is paralyzed and the family needs immediate assistance for 2 hours daily (1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the evening.)Qualifications/Educational Requirements:High school graduate or G.E.D certificateAbility to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the jobPossess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the jobAt least 1 year caregiving experienceMust be:Willing to keep client activeGood at communicatingHave driver's license and car with automobile insuranceCompensation: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
