Job description
NOC CaregiverAt Mountain Park, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality of memory care in Clackamas County, OR, and we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver at Mountain Park Memory Care Community, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents who are experiencing Alzheimer's or another form of dementia.As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered care to our residents, ensuring their social, spiritual, mental, and physical well-being. Our multifaceted approach focuses on fostering an independent lifestyle that is tailored to each resident's individual abilities. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans that promote resident autonomy and dignity.Responsibilities:Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and groomingEncourage socialization and engagement among residents through activities, games, and conversationsAssist with mealtime, including eating assistance and hydrationMonitor and report changes in resident behavior, mood, or condition to the healthcare teamParticipate in training and education programs to stay up-to-date on best practices in dementia careMaintain accurate and timely records of resident care and activitiesRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience working with seniors or individuals with dementia preferredAbility to lift, transfer, and reposition residents as neededCompassionate and patient demeanor with excellent communication skillsAbility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidaysWhat We Offer:A dynamic and supportive work environment with a focus on resident-centered careOpportunities for professional growth and developmentIf you are passionate about providing high-quality care to individuals with memory loss and are committed to making a positive difference in their lives, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
