At BrightStar Care, we provide uplifting in-home care for seniors as well as clients of all ages who require a helping hand, a supportive companion, and day-to-day assistance in their homes. This position is located close in Fresno, TX (close to Missouri City). In this position, you will provide hands-on care for two individuals in their home. Day shifts Saturday 11am-8 pm and Sunday 9 am-5:30 pm.At BrightStar Care, we value each of our employees and care about their well-being. We strive to provide a competitive pay and support systems for our employees.Caregiver Job Benefits:Competitive pay at $21 per hour10K Life Insurance after 60 days of employmentWeekly pay/direct depositFree in-house training with Director of NursingSupportive and rewarding work environmentZayZoon-Earned wage accessResponsibilities:Assist with bathing, dressing, ambulation, meal preparation, and transfers using a hoyer liftAssisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Director of NursingRequirements:High school diploma or GEDValid CPR certificate (can get upon hire)Negative TB skin test within the last 12 months (can get upon hire)Valid driver's license and auto insurance with reliable vehicleAdhere to HIPPA and maintain client confidentialityMust be eligible status on AHCA level 2 backgroundNegative drug screen and motor vehicle background screeningAbility to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectivelyMust be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
