At BrightStar Care, we provide uplifting in-home care for seniors as well as clients of all ages who require a helping hand, a supportive companion, and day-to-day assistance in their homes. This position is located close in Waller, TX. In this position, you will provide hands-on, one-on-one care in a private home.Day shifts Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1:00 PM-6:00 PM. We strive to provide a competitive pay and support systems for our employees.Caregiver Job Benefits:Competitive pay at $16 per hour10K Life Insurance after 60 days of employmentWeekly pay/direct depositFree in-house training with Director of NursingSupportive and Rewarding Work EnvironmentZayZoon-Earned wage accessResponsibilities:Light housekeeping and personal care such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfersAccompany clients to the grocery store, doctor appointments and pharmacy visitsRequirements:High school diploma or GEDValid CPR Certificate that includes hands-on training (can get upon hire)Negative TB skin test within the last 12 months (can get upon hire)Valid Driver's License and auto insurance with reliable vehicleAdhere to HIPPA and maintain client confidentialityMust be eligible status on AHCA level 2 backgroundNegative drug screen and motor vehicle background screeningAbility to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectivelyMust be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
