Not only do we provide a supportive work environment, but we also offer flexible scheduling and competitive pay!Location: Cypress, TX (Serving 77095, 77429, 77433)Company: Assisting Hands – CypressPosition Type: Part-TimeAbout the RoleThis position provides custodial and non-medical personal care services to clients that contract with Assisting Hands for services under the direction of the Staffing Coordinator in compliance with the Plan of Care.Education: High School Diploma/GED requiredQualificationsOne (1) year experience in the home or long-term care setting is preferred.CPR CertificationCurrent TB test preferredMust be able to speak and read EnglishMust be 18 years of age or olderReports to: Staffing CoordinatorPrimary Duties May Include:Reporting changes in the client's condition and electronically documentingAssisting with the use of devices for aid to daily living such as a wheelchair, walker, or hoyer liftAssisting with prescribed range of motion exercisesKeeping records of personal health care activitiesMedication remindersLight HousekeepingNutritional Support and meal preparationTransportation/ErrandsAssistance with activities of daily living, such as hands on assist showers, incontinent careDementia care, after stroke care, Parkinson's carePet careHours: Dependent on assignment; Shifts available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and based on availability.
