Village Caregiving PositionVillage Caregiving is a non-medical home care agency prioritizing providing quality home care services to allow individuals to age in place. We currently have client need for a 30 day window, 7 days a week in Green Leaf, WI.Benefits:Flexible scheduleReferral programResponsibilities:Help clients take prescribed medicationAssist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)Assist clients with personal care and hygieneHelp clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercisesDo the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if neededPerform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing mealsCollect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family membersReport any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family membersAct quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencyRequirements:Previous caregiver experience preferred but not requiredCurrent CPR (American Heart Association) CertificationWillingness to adhere to health and safety standardsKnowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraintsMust be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside mannerOutstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skillsPhysical endurance to complete required tasksHigh school diploma or equivalentWe are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws
