A Better Solution in Home Care is hiring Caregivers (HCA/CNA) for afternoon and evening shifts on Camano Island!

We are looking for dependable, compassionate caregivers who are available later in the day and enjoy providing personalized, one-on-one care in a client's home. If you're looking for afternoon or evening hours, whether to add to your current schedule or build a consistent caregiving schedule, we would love to hear from you!

What You'll Do

Responsibilities will vary based on each client's individual care plan and may include:

Personal care assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene

Mobility, transfers, and ambulation assistance

Meal preparation and mealtime support

Medication reminders

Light housekeeping and laundry

Errands and household assistance

Companionship and meaningful interaction

Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition or needs

Completing required shift documentation

Helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home

What We're Looking For

Washington State HCA or CNA certification, or currently working toward certification as permitted by Washington State requirements

Availability for afternoon and/or evening shifts

Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

Dependable and comfortable traveling to clients on Camano Island

Compassionate, patient, and professional approach to caregiving

Strong communication skills

Ability to meet Washington State background and employment requirements

CPR/First Aid certification is a plus

Previous caregiving experience is helpful, but we encourage qualified caregivers at different experience levels to apply

Compensation:

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
