CareMed caregivers make life at home safer, happier, and more comfortable for seniors. As a member of the CareMed team, you will make aging in place possible and help minimize the risk of senior isolation and the effects that come with it.CareMed offers part-time and full-time home care positions with flexible scheduling and highly competitive pay. We work within your availability to offer both shorter and longer hours, days and/or evenings, weekdays and/or weekends.Duties:Provide direct in-home care and support to individuals with disabilities, dementia, or other special needsAssist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toiletingPrepare meals and assist with meals as neededAssist with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organizingProvide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activitiesFollow care plans and ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all timesSkills:Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementiaKnowledge of ADLs and ability to assist clients with personal care tasksFamiliarity with client rights and the importance of maintaining confidentialityStrong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionalsAbility to provide patient-centered care and adapt to the unique needs of each individualKnowledge of in-home care systems and proceduresCompassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help othersValid driver's license and auto insurance requiredNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
