No certification required—we will train compassionate individuals who are committed to providing exceptional care.A Day in the Life of a Senior Helpers CaregiverAt Senior Helpers, our caregivers are the heart of our mission. In the simplest terms, a caregiver provides compassionate, in-home assistance to someone in need—but the role is so much more than that.Responsibilities may include:Providing companionship and emotional supportEngaging clients in conversation, hobbies, games, and activitiesAssisting with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toiletingAssisting with mobility, walking, and transfersMeal planning and preparationLight housekeeping and laundryMedication remindersErrandsTransportation to appointments, errands, and social activitiesSupporting clients recovering from illness, hospitalization, or living with chronic conditions such as dementiaWhat We’re Looking ForOur best caregivers are compassionate, dependable, patient, and committed to treating every client with dignity and respect.QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver's licenseReliable vehicle with current registration and insuranceWillingness to transport clients when neededStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical ability to assist with lifting, bending, standing, and mobility supportAuthorized to work in the United StatesPreferred QualificationsExperience as a Caregiver, Personal Care Aide (PCA), Home Health Aide (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or similar roleExperience working with seniors, dementia care, or individuals requiring assistance with activities of daily livingEmployment RequirementsCriminal background checks must be completed, and candidates must be confirmed as eligible for employment before they can begin working.
