Immediate Need For Compassionate Caregivers!Full or part-time options. At HomeWell Care Services of NWI, we are looking for compassionate caregivers to be a part of our team and join us in our mission of enhancing seniors' lives, one day at a time. You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes. We are looking for people who are committed to enhance the quality of life of seniors and others by providing the best in-home care with empathy, excellence and integrity.Benefits include competitive compensation, referral bonuses, flexible schedules, first uniform top free, training, assistance with housing/childcare program, and a fast track to hire process.With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but are not limited to:Social companionshipSupport with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparationTransportation to appointments, errands and social outingsStandby assistance with transfersOvernight safety assistanceQualifications include no healthcare certification required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred. Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus. Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone. Pass a criminal background check (national and any required by the state). Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test. Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance. Ability to travel 15 miles for any scheduled shifts. A compassionate heart for older adults. Must possess excellent communication skills. Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable.
