Home Health Aide (HHA) / PCAThe Home Health Aide (HHA) / PCA provides clients various personal care and homemaker/companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence.Qualifications/Educational Requirements:High school graduate or G.E.D certificateAbility to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the jobPossess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the jobMust be at least 18 years oldYou must have some experience with autistic children who are not high functioningResponsibilities:Monday through Friday from 3:30PM to 9:30PMAssist with toileting, bathing, grooming, doing some of his laundry, cleaning messes, preparing meals and cleaning it after school, assistance with meal preparation, and some transferring depending on frequent behavioral issuesRequires constant supervision and careClient is mostly non verbal but is able to communicate using some words, sign language pointing and pictures.Client rides the bus to school and potential caregiver would need to be at residence with valid identification to receive client from the busYou must have some experience with autistic children who are not high functioning.Must Be:Willing to keep client activeGood at communicatingHave driver's license and carSome benefits include:Training ProgramsFlexible HoursCompensation: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
