In-Home Caregiver – Coon Rapids, MNComfort Keepers is looking for an experienced and dependable In-Home Caregiver to provide personalized support to a client in the Coon Rapids area.This position offers a consistent set schedule with opportunities to pick up additional or flexible hours. Responsibilities may include:Assisting with personal care and hygieneProviding bed-bound personal careAssisting with mobility and transfersUsing mechanical lifts such as Hoyer liftsPreparing meals and supporting proper nutritionProviding medication remindersProviding transportation and assistance with errandsPerforming light housekeeping and organizationProviding companionship and end-of-life supportSupporting clients with dementia and memory-related needsOur interactive caregiving approach focuses on engaging clients in their daily routines while promoting dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life.Qualifications & ExperienceWe're looking for an experienced caregiver who meets the following requirements:Must be at least 18 years oldValid driver's licenseReliable vehicle and current auto insurancePrevious experience as a Caregiver, CNA, HHA, PCA, RA, DSP, or similar roleExperience providing dementia careExperience with bed-bound personal careExperience with mechanical lifts, such as Hoyer or similar equipment, strongly preferredComfortable providing care in a home with petsStrong work ethic and dependable attendanceCompassionate, patient, and client-focusedComfortable working independently in a client's homeEducation & Career AdvancementComfort Keepers supports caregivers who want to continue developing their skills and advance their careers in healthcare.Eligible direct-care employees may have access to scholarship support through the Minnesota Department of Health HCBS Employee Scholarship Program.Qualified team members may receive assistance with approved educational expenses while pursuing CNA, LPN, or RN training, helping support career advancement in home and community-based care.To be eligible, employees must work in a direct-care role for an average of at least 10 hours per week and meet program requirements.
