Caregiver PositionDoes it bring you joy to assist the elderly with daily activities? Elderly female client returning home from the hospital after a hip fracture. Needs assistance with turning in the bed, eating, and companionship to include conversation and playing games. We are seeking compassionate caregivers to provide exemplary personal care and companion care. Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel throughout agency service area in northern Virginia.Benefits:Hourly rate of $19 to $22 per hour based on licensing and experience.Time and a half for major holidays.Earn bonus for referring new caregivers.Earn bonus for referring new clients.App-based training for annual caregiver professional development.Electronic scheduling, payments, and shift-notes. Build caring relationships with seniors as you help them safely improve their quality of life.Job ResponsibilitiesFollows the instructions of the RN supervisor in providing personal assistance services.Provide assistance with hygiene such as bathing, oral care, and dressing.Assist with food preparation; serve food, performs errands, light housekeeping, laundry, wash dishes.Observe and report any safety hazards found in the client's home or any significant observations regarding the client.Attend staff meetings, attend/complete 12 hours of annual in-services, and participates in orientation of new employees.Report client complaints to the RN supervisor.Report abnormal findings in client's conditions as observed and per care plan to RN.Required Skills & QualificationsExperience: Two years of experience as a caregiver. Must have CNA license, CNA certificate, PCA, or HHA.Requirements:Authorized to work in the United States.Pass a background check and drug screen.Current driver's license.Current TB test.Reliable transportation, able to travel throughout Prince William County and surrounding areas.Immunizations to include COVID-19 and flu strongly encouraged.
