Caregiver – In-Home Senior CareLocation: Graham, WAPay: $20.50 – $24.00 per hour (depending on experience and certification) Job Types: Full-time, Part-timeAre you a compassionate caregiver looking to make a real difference in your community? Senior Helpers – South Tacoma is currently hiring experienced caregivers to support our growing client base in the Graham area.As a caregiver with Senior Helpers, you will provide one-on-one care in the client’s home, helping seniors remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own environment while building meaningful relationships.We offer flexible scheduling, varied shifts, and opportunities to pick up additional open shifts that fit your availability.Our office team works hard to create a supportive and respectful workplace where caregivers feel valued, appreciated, and supported.What You’ll DoAs a caregiver with Senior Helpers, your daily responsibilities may include:Providing meaningful conversation and companionshipAssisting with daily activities such as walking, dressing, grooming, and hygieneMeal preparation and light housekeepingSupporting clients with hobbies like games, gardening, or craftsMedication reminders and updates on client well-beingObserving and reporting changes in condition or behaviorCommunicating with the care team and documenting care tasks in our caregiving appDocumentation ExpectationsAccurate documentation is an essential part of providing safe, high-quality care. Caregivers are required to complete detailed shift notes in our caregiving app at the end of every visit, documenting the care provided, the client’s condition, and any changes observed.Clear documentation helps ensure continuity of care and keeps families and the care team informed.Caregivers who take pride in thorough documentation and professional communication are highly valued on our team.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentCNA or HCA certification (required)At least 1 year of professional caregiving experienceValid driver’s license and reliable transportationMust be 18 years or olderAbility to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and assisting with mobilityMust pass Washington State background and exclusion checksAuthorized to work in the United StatesMust live in or be able to commute to Graham and surrounding service areasFor caregivers providing transportation:Valid driver’s licenseInsurance meeting Washington State minimum requirementsTechnology & Documentation RequirementsMust have a reliable cell phoneMust be comfortable using caregiving apps for scheduling, clock-in/out, reviewing care plans, and documentationMust be able to write clear and accurate documentation in EnglishReliability is essential in this role.
