We understand the importance of respecting and taking care of our staffJob Responsibilities:Provide medical and non-medical care to seniors in their own homesAssist seniors with personal care such as bathing, grooming, and hygieneEncourage seniors to try new things and stay active (within reason)Ensure seniors are eating a balanced diet and taking their prescribed medicationsCollaborate with seniors and their families to determine a personalized care planEstablish and maintain open communication and loyal relationships with seniors, family members, and co-workersStrive to create a positive atmosphere built on trust and respectJob Qualifications:Must be able to serve the La Porte or Michigan City, IN areasMust have a valid driver's license, auto insurance and a reliable vehicleMust have a high school diploma or GEDMust be able to stand, sit, walk, reach, kneel and lift up to 25 poundsMust submit to Criminal Background Investigation, Motor Vehicle Driving Record, and Pre-Employment Drug ScreeningPreferred: PCA, HHA, or CNA licensePreferred: 1+ years experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environmentSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayNight shiftWeekends
