In-Home Non-Medical Senior CaregiverAre you an active senior in search of meaningful part time work? Do you possess the heart of a caregiver?Seniors Helping Seniors® Tucson NW provides in-home services for seniors in need of extra care and companionship in order to keep seniors in the comfort of their own home longer. We're currently seeking the best In-Home Non-Medical Senior Caregivers in the areas of Marana, Catalina Foothills, Saddlebrooke, and Oro Valley.ResponsibilitiesProvide companionship and emotional supportAssist with daily living activities (e.g., dressing, feeding, showering/bathing, toileting/incontinence, mobility assistance, medication reminders, and memory care)Assist with Light Housekeeping such as laundry, vacuuming, washing dishes, etc.Assist with the use of devices for aid in daily living (cane, walker, wheelchair, lift device)Incidental Transportation to doctor's appointments, family, or their favorite placesBenefitsPaid orientation and ongoing caregiver trainingPositive, enthusiastic, and fulfilling work environmentFlexible schedule with great work-life balanceDirect Deposit paycheckMinimum RequirementsDriver's license and reliable vehicle with valid registration and insuranceCell phone with the ability to use various apps to complete caregiver tasksNegative TB test resultCPR/First Aid CertificationKnowledge of ADLs and the ability to assist clients in performing these tasks effectivelyFamiliarity with dementia care, memory care, and working with individuals with disabilitiesPass a criminal background check before employmentAbility to work overnights, weekends, and holidaysPreferred SkillsMature adults 50+ years of ageVolunteer and/or caregiving experienceKnowledge of ADLs and the ability to assist clients in performing these tasks effectivelyHoyer Lift experienceWillingness to learn new skills to best support the needs of the clientThis position will be concentrated in and around Marana, Catalina Foothills, Saddlebrooke, and Oro Valley.
