This role assists with daily living activities, personal care, companionship, homemaking, and safety support based on each client's individualized care plan.The ideal caregiver is patient, reliable, respectful, and committed to helping others maintain independence and quality of life. Every visit is an opportunity to provide care that is not only safe and professional, but also deeply human.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide personal care support, including assistance with dressing, grooming, bathing, eating, toileting, mobility, positioning, and transfers. Assist with daily routines that support client comfort, independence, and dignity. Provide companionship and meaningful engagement to reduce isolation and support emotional well-being. Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, errands, and other homemaker tasks as assigned. Support safe mobility, including walking, transferring, turning, positioning, and use of approved assistive equipment when appropriate. Provide medication reminders or assistance with pre-dosed medications within role guidelines and applicable regulations. Observe and report changes in client condition, behavior, needs, or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Follow each client's individualized care plan and document services accurately and timely. Maintain client confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries. Communicate respectfully with clients, families, supervisors, and care team members. Promote a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for every person supported.What You BringA compassionate, dependable, and respectful approach to care. A genuine interest in helping people live safely and independently at home. Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients and families. Reliability, punctuality, and follow-through. Ability to work independently while staying connected to the broader care team. Comfort assisting with personal care and daily living needs. Ability to lift, transfer, turn, or reposition clients as required by the care plan. Authorized to work in the United States.
