Atlas Home Health intentionally builds and maintains an excellent pool of caregivers so that we can quickly match the right caregiver with the right client as new cases begin. Completing the onboarding process now allows you to be fully prepared for upcoming assignments.Compensation: Pay of $25-$30/hour depending on experience. You will work to ensure client dignity, comfort, and independence. You will be responsible for documenting the services provided and reporting to the Executive Director.Job ResponsibilitiesBathingMeal planning and preparationTransferring/AmbulatingPersonal hygiene and groomingToileting and incontinence careAssisting with medication that the client self-administersTransportation assistancePosition Qualifications/RequirementsActive on the California Home Care Aide Registry (found here)One-year experience in home care, hospital, or nursing home setting preferredWilling to obtain Basic Life Support CPR/AED certificationAbility to read and follow written instructions and document care givenInitiative and ability to work with minimal supervisionEmpathy for the needs of the ill, frail, and impairedTact, patience, and good personal hygieneWillingness to submit a Livescan Fingerprint clearance and statement of prior criminal convictionsWillingness to attain a TB ScreeningAt least 18 years of age and a high school graduate or equivalentLicensed driver with an insured automobile preferredApply Today & Make a Meaningful Difference in Someone's Life!
