Make a Difference After Hours — Nights Needed in Canton, MS!We are seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to join our team as In-Home Caregivers in the Madison, Rankin and Hinds county area. In this role, you will provide essential support to seniors and individuals in need, allowing them to remain safe and comfortable in their own homes.As a caregiver, your work will have a direct impact on improving quality of life and providing peace of mind to both clients and their families.Why Work for Senior Helpers?Great Place to Work® Certified. We understand that our employees are with us to keep our business running and moving forward.Autonomy — We encourage our team members’ independence and believe in our team to complete their job duties without micromanaging.Task Variety — We provide an engaging workday that uses your various skill sets.Job Type: Part Time Non-exemptResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toiletingProvide companionship and emotional supportAssist with meal preparation and medication remindersAssist with household tasks necessary to the client’s health care needs Accompany clients to appointments and outingsMonitor and report changes in a client’s health or behaviorPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or educational equivalent.Must have at least one year of experience working in home care / home health.Must meet MS state requirements for Caregiving services.Must have a valid and current state driver’s license and insurance.Must have safe and reliable transportation to go to and from the client’s location and/or facilities and have a vehicle available during assignments in order to assist clients with shopping needs if required.Must be available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Ability to successfully pass a background check and other pre-employment screening.Physical Demands include but are not limited to:Able to lift, move, and assist clients.
