Caregiver/CompanionComfort Keepers is looking for part-time and full-time Caregivers/Companions to join our team. The Caregiver is responsible for the essential in-home care services to help our clients stay safe, healthy, and active so they are able to remain in their own home.The ideal candidate must be able to care for our clients with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. This person will encourage and remain empathetic to the clients at all times.Responsibilities:Home assistance – Provide light housekeeping, run errands, provide transportation or accompany clients to appointments. Prepare meals, grocery shopping and provide personal assistance with general living needs. Personal services could include toileting, bathing, feeding and grooming.Companionship/Respite Care – Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging and assisting an individual.Requirements:High school diploma or GED equivalentMust be able to complete a Criminal Background reportAbility to lift up to 20 pounds at a timeAbility to reach, bend, kneel and stand for period of timeCurrent Drivers license and Insured dependable transportationAbility to work independently with little to no supervisionComfort Keepers is a Non-Medical Healthcare organization dedicated to enhancing quality of life by delivering care and supportive services with compassion, warmth, dignity and respect.Benefits for Caregivers include health, dental and vision, paid time off, and promotes job opportunities within.Employees can also take advantage of casual dress code, reimbursed mileage and parking fees, etc.
