Western Slope In-Home Care OpportunityCome work for Western Slope In-Home Care and make a difference! You will get the opportunity to provide compassionate care to individuals in their home and give back to the elder blind or disabled. Western Slope In-Home Care provides home care services to Medicaid, VA, LTC insurance, and private pay clients who want to remain independent and live in their own homes. Caregivers need to live in the NW Colorado area to work with our Agency. You can be a part of that mission.Pay Rate: $19.00 - $22.00 per hourHere's Why Our Team Likes Working with Us:Flexible SchedulingBenefits eligible at 30+ hours per week.401K offered to employees after two years of work.Supplemental insurance available.One-on-one patient care.Responsibilities:Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eatingRemind clients to take prescribed medicationHelp with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)Assist with personal care and hygienePlan and prepare mealsComplete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do soPerform housekeeping dutiesReport any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencyOffer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessaryIdeal Candidates will:Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.Promote personal safety and a safe environment for clients.Maintain compliance with agency policy, procedures, and job requirements.Qualifications:High School Diploma or Equivalent.1 year of caregiver experience preferred but not requiredCaregivers work in the privacy of each patient’s home, allowing you more time one-on-one to get to know your patient and provide quality care.
