Right at Home Northampton County, In-Home Care & Assistance, is seeking to hire Caregivers and Home Health Aids to join our team providing in-home to area seniors . We have immediate part-time positions available. During these trying times our seniors need a hero they can rely on and trust. You can make a difference in your career by providing care and compassion to those looking to remain in the comfort of their homes. Hours vary by client and location. Shifts available Immediately for Easton area

nResponsibilities and Duties:
nPerforms personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
nPersonal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)
nAmbulation/Transfers
nEating
nDressing/Shaving
nPrepares meals and snacks according to instructions
nAccompany patient on errands or medical appointments.
nPerforms housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
nPerforms patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):
nMedication reminders
nAssisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises
nMeasuring and preparing special diets
nUnderstanding dementia care
nIncontinence care
nQualifications and Skills:
nHigh school graduate or G.E.D. certificate.
nAt least 1 year of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities) preferred.
nAbility to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
nPossess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile preferred.
