Job description
Non-Medical Healthcare Aid / HomemakerHealthcare Plus is currently seeking a compassionate and bilingual Non-Medical Healthcare Aid / Homemaker to provide essential support and assistance to seniors or clients in their own homes. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering personalized care and ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients.Key Responsibilities:Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support.Engage in meaningful interactions and companionship with seniors or clients, promoting emotional well-being and mental stimulation.Perform light housekeeping duties including meal preparation, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.Assist clients with medication reminders as per their prescribed schedule, ensuring compliance and safety.Utilize bilingual skills to effectively communicate with clients who speak different languages, ensuring clear understanding and facilitating smooth interactions.Maintain accurate records of care provided, including observations, activities, and any changes in the client's condition, adhering to company protocols and confidentiality guidelines.Qualifications:Fluent in both English and (insert second language), with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate care and support to seniors or clients with empathy and respect.Punctual and dependable with a commitment to providing consistent and reliable care to clients.Ability to follow instructions carefully and pay attention to detail, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety.Willingness to adapt to changing schedules and client needs, with a flexible approach to work hours and duties.Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or a related field is preferred but not required.
