Caregiver Position At Visiting AngelsVisiting Angels is the family alternative providing non-medical assistance to seniors, allowing them to stay in their home or maintain their current living arrangements in an assisted living facility or independent living community. We are seeking experienced/trained candidates with a passion to serve seniors. Candidates must have experience as a caregiver working with the elderly, other than family experience. We are looking for candidates with the ability to work in the following areas: Little Rock, North Little Rock, Sherwood, Jacksonville and Maumelle.Caregiver Job Duties Include:Non-medical, in-home care and assistance to seniors and disabled adultsHygiene Assistance – Bathing, Grooming and ToiletingMeal Preparation / Diet MonitoringMedication RemindersLight Housekeeping and LaundryAmbulation / Mobility AssistanceTransportation, Errands and ShoppingCompanionship and friendship for seniors and other clientsCaregiver Benefits Include:Flexible Scheduling – (Hourly)Competitive Hourly WagesReferral and other BonusesPersonal, One-on-One Care EnvironmentFriendly and Supportive StaffCaregiver Requirements:A dedication and passion to serving seniorsA strong sense of responsibility and cheerful personalityA positive and dependable attitudeAbility to work in a personal, one-on-one care environment1+ years of hands on experience, either in a private home or facilityHigh school/GEDValid Driver's LicenseReliable car and current car insuranceVerifiable managerial references from the facilities you have worked for in the past with names, phone numbers, addresses, and dates of employment including the names of your supervisorsVerifiable references from the clients or a family member with phone numbers, addresses and datesCurrent certification as a CNA or HHA, RA, PCA, etc., is preferred, but will consider experienceAlzheimer's or other dementia experience is a plusAbility to pass Criminal, DMV, Sexual Predator & Terrorist background checks requiredCompensation: $11.25 - $12.50 per hour
