You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes.With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but not limited to:CompanionshipLight cooking and cleaningBathing, grooming and toiletingAssistance with ambulation and medication remindersTransportation for appointments and errandsQualifications:CNA preferred (but not required) or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill personsExceptional communication skillsReliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver's license and auto insuranceMust be physically able to perform the duties of this positionMature, caring, punctual, and reliablePass a criminal background checkPass a drug testBenefits:We are an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE)We provide liability insuranceWe provide worker's compensationWe provide flexible schedules and matching caregivers with nearby clientsQuarterly bonusesDirect depositPaid orientation and ongoing trainingTime-and-a-half pay for overtime and holidaysFlexible schedulesPay:Competitive experienced based pay starting at $17-$18 Per HourAfter working a minimal of 16 hours per week for 4 consecutive weeks, your pay will increase by $1As a caregiver at HomeWell, you will:Provide attention to the client's non-medical needs, including companionshipAssist client with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication remindersEstablish communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workersProvide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shiftsCompensation: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
