Care AssistantQualicare KC Home is looking for a Care Assistant in Pleasant Hill and Harrisonville areas. We have a couple of clients in these areas and are looking for part time consistent care. Growth from within or those wanting to serve and make extra income!Responsibilities:- Be caring and compassionate toward clients and their caretakers. - Show up on time! (earns those performance bonuses...every time you clock in our system tracks that for more money) - Assistance with personal care and hygiene, including incontinence briefs etc. - Meal preparation - Light housekeeping - Accompany clients on outings - Shopping and errands - Medication assist/reminders - Ambulation and transporting of clients - Provide companionship to clients - Ability to follow care-plan - Documentation/charting - Must be able to bend, kneel, squat, do stairs etc!Requirements:- Experience in life with caregiving or professionally - Must be 18 years or older - Must hold a valid driver's license - Demonstrate good judgment when dealing with patients, visitors, families, and co-workers Compensation: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
