CarpenterLocation: Somerville, MACompany: AerotekPay: $25 - $32/hourSchedule: Full-TimeJob Type: Long-Term OpportunityOverviewAerotek is hiring skilled carpenters for commercial apartment construction projects throughout the Boston area, including Milton, Medford, and Somerville. These are full-time, long-term positions offering consistent work, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work on large-scale residential construction projects. Candidates must have their own hand tools and PPE and be ready to start as soon as possible. This position is full time offering competitive pay and benefits!ResponsibilitiesPerform framing carpentry, and general construction tasks on commercial apartment projectsMeasure, cut, and install wood and other building materials according to specificationsInstall trim, doors, windows, cabinetry, and other finish carpentry componentsRead and interpret blueprints, layouts, and construction drawingsOperate hand tools and power tools safely and efficientlyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaWork closely with other trades and team members to ensure project timelines are metFollow all job site safety regulations and PPE requirementsRequirementsAt least 1 year of carpentry or construction experienceExperience with framing, finish carpentry, or bothAbility to safely use hand tools and power toolsAbility to read a tape measure and follow construction plans or instructionsMust provide your own hand tools and PPEAbility to perform physical work, including lifting, carrying, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periodsStrong work ethic and commitment to safetyWhy Apply?Long-term, full-time work on commercial apartment construction projectsCompetitive pay ranging from $25 - $32 per hourOpportunities to build and expand your carpentry skillsWork alongside experienced construction professionalsMultiple project locations throughout the Boston areaStable work environment with opportunities for career growth and developmentJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boston, MA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
