Job description
CarpenterUnder occasional supervision, performs carpentry functions in District schools in accordance with applicable codes, specifications, schedules and standards. Reports to the Crew Leader or Manager of Maintenance Services.Specific duties and responsibilities include conducting general carpentry work, installing and repairing various fixtures, operating a variety of equipment, and interacting with various groups and individuals.Minimum education and training requires a high school diploma supplemented by two years of experience in carpentry or construction, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
