Carpenter ForemanEssel is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter Foreman to join our team. In this role, you will supervise carpentry projects and lead a team of carpenters, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications. The Carpenter Foreman will be responsible for planning work schedules, managing resources, and maintaining quality control throughout the project lifecycle. Your leadership and experience will be key in driving project success while fostering a collaborative work environment.Duties/Responsibilities:Provide expertise in performing journeyman-level rough and finish carpentry dutiesReview project plan and blueprintsEstimate time, material, equipment, and supplies neededTrack production rates of self-performed workDevelop work schedules and crew assignmentsDevelop and manage JHAs, ensure crews are working safely and properly trainedMaintains records of operationsMonitor inventories and request supplies and equipmentEnsure work areas are properly maintainedUtilize a proactive approach to anticipate and resolve potential issuesConsult with clients and contractors in a professional mannerEnsure carpentry jobs are completed in due time and ensure work is performed according to company standardsDiscipline, mentor, and monitor the performance of employeesCoordinate and maintain crew safety, equipment, and tool trainingComplete other responsibilities as assigned
