Featuring complete aircraft nose-to-tail, value-added offerings, including Aircraft & Component Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Services (MRO), Aircraft & Engine Sales and Leasing, Used Serviceable Material (USM) Sales and Parts Exchange, Flight Equipment Asset Management Services, Internally developed aircraft and component modifications (engineered solutions) designed to enhance aircraft performance and operating economics (e.g. AerSale®, AerTrak® and AerAware).Job Summary: Ensure safe shipment of all aircraft landing gear components by building custom crates to be shipped across the country and overseas. Perform general preventative building maintenance.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Build shipping crates according to product specificationUtilize common manual and power toolsMeasure and cut wood, foam and harnessesOperate a forkliftScrap unusable inventoryPerform some preventative building maintenance that does not require a licensed professionalManages small projects without supervisionEffectively communicate with coworkers and vendorsPerform additional duties as directed by the SupervisorEducation and Experience:High School Diploma or an EquivalentForklift certifiedSuccessfully completed 90 days with proven ability to use any job-related tools properly and safely, follow instruction, and work independentlyProficient in the English languageOccasional overtimeAbilities and Skills:Able to demonstrate carpentry skillsAble to perform basic building maintenanceMust exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work productExcellent organizational skillsAttention to detail and accuracyPhysical requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Stand for extended periods of timeBend, twist, stretch or reach with body, arms and legsManual and finger dexterityNear visionIf you would like to see your career take flight, apply today!
