Job DescriptionAbout the Role:
McTegrity Construction Services is looking for a motivated Carpenter Helper to join our growing team accross Monmouth County NJ! This is a fantastic opportunity to get your hands dirty, learn the trade, and build a rewarding career in construction alongside experienced professionals.
Responsibilities:
Assist lead carpenters with framing, finishing, and general carpentry tasks on job sites
Measure, cut, and prepare lumber and other building materials as directed
Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials at job sites
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards
Support installation of structures, fixtures, and woodwork components
Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision
Follow instructions from lead carpenters and site supervisors to meet project deadlines
Requirements:
Prior construction or carpentry experience is required — willingness to learn is a must
Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction materials
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in various weather conditions
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with a positive attitude
Valid driver‘s license and truck
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately and safely
