Carpenter II – Facilities ManagementCreighton University is seeking an experienced Carpenter II to join our Facilities Management team. In this role, you'll perform skilled carpentry work including building, repairing, and maintaining university buildings and contents.You'll complete both rough and finish carpentry projects, read blueprints and drawings, estimate materials and time, and ensure compliance with building and safety codes. This position offers stable, full-time day hours (Monday–Friday) with great benefits and a supportive work environment.Responsibilities:Perform skilled carpentry construction, installation, and repair workRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsEstimate cost, time, and materials for projectsInspect contractor work for compliance with standards and safety regulationsMaintain tools, equipment, and work areasQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent4–5 years of carpentry experience or completion of an approved apprenticeship program plus one year of experienceStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work safely at heights of 20+ feetBasic computer proficiencyValid driver's license and clean driving recordMust be 19 years of age or olderBenefits:Competitive pay and excellent benefitsPaid time off and retirement planProfessional development opportunitiesWork-life balance and a positive team cultureSchedule: Full-time, primarily day shift, Monday–Friday.
