Drug screen, physical and criminal background check is required of successful candidates.Essential Responsibilities:Performs any combination of the following duties on construction projects, usually working in a utility capacity and by transferring from one task to another. Activities include but are not limited to:Constructs forms and chutes for pouring concreteErects scaffolding and laddersConstructs, erects, installs and repairs structures and fixtures of wood, plywood and wallboard using hand tools and power tools.Prepares layout, using rule, framing square and calipers.Marks cutting and assembly lines on materials using pencil, chalk and marking gaugeVerifies trueness of structure with plumb bob and carpenter's levelErects framework for structures and lays subflooringBuilds stairs and lays out and installs partitions and cabinet workMay remove and replace sections of structures prior to and after installation of insulating material.Ability to work without close supervision once directed on task.Obeys and follows all safety rules on the job site and encourages others to do the same.Maintains a good relationship with co-workers and works well with others to accomplish a task.Physical demands of this position include lifting up to 70 pounds occasionally; 50 pounds frequently along with frequent handling and reaching, occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and feeling.EOE M/F/D/VEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
